Nothing quite like the realization that your literal master work is of absolutely zero interest to 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the population. Let's face it-- Medicaid, behavioral health, and the potential impact of financing mechanisms and operational policy decisions is a topic of interest to about fifteen people on the face of the earth. Of which maybe two would be curious as to my personal writings.

Humbling, isn't it?

Get a PhD and the number of people who care goes down to like 5.
