A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal. -Oscar Wilde

My focus seems to have abandoned me. Working while closing/ covering my bad eye has me feeling like the library pirate. Arr, matey. Scoundrels be trolling these waters for information treasure and all that. Seriously, I need divine inspiration and intervention at this point.

My trying to compensate for the bad eye keeps drawing glares from the person at the table next to mine. As is my sniffling, sneezing, coughing. Look, really? I'm not exactly enjoying it myself. I assure you that I have plenty of tissues, and I have indeed taken medication. It's just not working terribly well, probably because after two weeks it's just not as effective. Or because I've gone from a cold to allergy fun. I don't know, nor do I particularly care. At any rate, I hid in this corner to limit the number of patrons impacted by my freaky eye and gross noises, but then this person chose to sit close by me. Not the other way around. And then they glare at me. Argh.

Even the eyepatch-less seem to have low motivation this time of year... sounds like you're holding up pretty well, considering! Hope you feel much better soon. By the way, thought of you tonight when we ordered a patient an eyepatch... and prn parrot to shoulder...
